I founded BB'S African Hair Braiding in New York City in 2000-2007 to share the beauty of African hair artistry. Growing our business in NYC taught me resilience and strong business practices. With success came the vision to expand BB'S to new communities.
Ridgeland, Mississippi
In 2008- date , I brought BB'S to Ridgeland, Mississippi, where lower costs and new opportunities awaited. While introducing African braiding styles took education and outreach, today our salon flourishes as both a business and cultural center” for all Mississipian and the surroundings.
Atlanta, Georgia
I opened our Atlanta location Douglassvile in 2011 to serve a diverse, style-conscious community. Atlanta’s dynamic beauty industry demands excellence and innovation, and BB'S has proudly earned its place through quality service and authentic African styling.
